About Me
My name is Andy Dean and I live in Worcester with my wife and daughter, I first got involved with hospital radio way back in 1996 when I joined after being involved in an infamous phone wind-up whilst working in the hospital kitchen one Christmas day, for which the presenter involved (Dave Webber) was nominated for Hospital Radio presenter of the year, to which he subsequently came 3rd. During my time in hospital radio I have always presented Simply Musicals on a Friday evening at 6pm, for three years I was programme controller and  for the last few years I have been the stations librarian responsible for sourcing, editing and filing all the music the station needs, the rest as they say is history.

My love for musical theatre goes back to when I was a child and first watched the sound of music, as you can probably guess I got hooked. After that it snowballed and I became a member of  St Ambrose Players in my home town of Leyland in Lancashire. When I left Home and moved to London I found the west end (I thought I'd died and gone to heaven), I went to see every show I possibly could. In 1993 I applied to Mountview Theatre School And L.A.M.D.A to study stage management and technical theatre but unfortunately I was unable to fund myself through the two year course, so I do the next best thing and go and watch the shows as much as I can.

If you would like to know anything else about me or my love for Musical theatre please contact me.

My show list just keeps getting bigger:- Joseph, Cats, Starlight Express, Aspects Of Love, Les Miserables, Rocky Horror Show, Miss Saigon, Carousel, Phantom Of The Opera, Martin Guerre, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Saturday Night Fever, Oliver, Blood Brothers, The Lion King, Beauty & The Beast, Mary Poppins, The Woman In White, Dr Dolittle, Boogie Nights, Electric Lipstick, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, Buddy, Scrooge, Singing In The Rain, My Fair Lady, Summer Holiday, West Side Story, Wizard Of Oz, Sunset Boulevard, Chicago, We Will Rock You, Mama Mia, The King And I, plus many more I can't think of.

 A very young me.
